I have to find the center pictures which shows the process of developing the sailboat and background. I drew an outline onto the fabric and then painted it. After it was dry I added a layer of batting and outlined the boat and world in black thread. I added beading to the world later.

The blue pieces were painted using wet on wet acrylic (very wet) with blue and metallic blue. The sides (pinkish) were crimson, blue and gold using the same technique. The corners were also the same with purple green and blue and then were sewn over in a meandering crisscross pattern
